With round 1 of the BRCA Rally X nationals fully subscribed we thought we would take a look at what chassis and engines the 126 competitors have chosen for this season. With lots of new and exciting products on the market to choose from how well supported is your chassis? What makes you decide what to run? Is it the team atmosphere? The brands image? The trackside support? Or the proven performance over the last few seasons. Whatever it is that tempts you to purchase a kit or join a race team one thing is certain, there are lots of different brands that will be represented in 2023 and the competition is surely going to be fierce.

Here we can see how each chassis will be represented at round 1 of the National series which will take place at HNMC.

So, 13 different chassis will be competing this season with Sworkz leading the way with 21 competitors choosing the current national championship winning brand. Agama are next up with an impressive 17 drivers and HB the third most popular with 16. A couple of relatively new brands worth a mention are Mayako (13 drivers) and WRC (8 drivers).

With the buggy's decided, which engines are the drivers hoping will power them to victory in 2023? Lets take a look..

From the 126 entries for round 1 we have an incredible 17 different engine brands! Topping the list is REDS Racing with 25 entries followed by Japanese powerhouse OS with 20. Third most popular is Bullitt with 18. Blok and Nova are the fourth and fifth most popular amongst the entrants with 14 and 13 respectively.

Now that the drivers have chosen their machinery all focus will be on the opening round in May. In the meantime I'm sure lots of racers will be getting prepared for the season ahead. We cant wait to see everyone trackside soon!
