What’s On This Week: 16th–22nd March 2026
Another busy week lies ahead for BRCA racers, with national competition kicking off for the Truggy and E-Buggy classes and regional championships continuing around the country. As we move further into March, attention is beginning to shift toward the start of the outdoor national season, with practice, preparation and entries all ramping up.
National Racing Returns at Herts
The first major national action of the week takes place at Herts Nitro Model Car Club, where the BRCA Truggy & E8 Buggy National Series begins its 2026 campaign.
• Saturday 21st March – Official practice day
• Sunday 22nd March – Round 1 of the Truggy & E-Buggy Nationals
Drivers will spend Saturday dialling in their setups before Sunday’s qualifying rounds and finals decide the first winners of the new championship season. With only a small number of rounds in the series, a strong opening result can be crucial for anyone targeting a title challenge later in the year.
Regional Championship Action
Regional racing also continues this weekend, with competitors in the BRCA East of England 1/10th Off Road Regional Series returning for the next round of their championship.
• Sunday 22nd March – Round 2 (4WD)
Regional series remain a key part of the BRCA calendar, giving racers the opportunity to compete regularly at a high level while building experience that can lead into national competition.
Entries Opening for Off-Road Nationals
Away from the track, drivers are also preparing for the upcoming BRCA 1/10th Off Road National Championship season. Entry windows continue to open throughout March across the different classes as competitors secure their places for the six-round championship.
The series is set to begin in April, meaning teams and drivers will be using the coming weeks to finalise cars, setups and race plans before the first round gets underway.
