The famous Scotty Ernst is heading back to the UK at the end of August for a fantastic showdown event. This will be held at the Robinhood Raceway venue over Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th and Monday 28th August 2023.
The Scotty Ernst UK Showdown is hosted by Scotty Ernst Productions in partnership with Schumacher Racing, The BRCA, Robinhood Raceway
and York Off Road Car Club.
The event format is as follows:
Saturday 26th August:
> 2wd Registration (Modern and Vintage)
> 2wd Practice (Modern and Vintage)
> 2wd Qualifying (Modern and Vintage)
Sunday 27th August:
> 2wd Qualifying (Modern and Vintage)
> Finals (3 Leg A Final) (Modern and Vintage)
> 4wd / Stadium Truck Registration (Modern and Vintage)
> 4wd / Stadium Truck Practice (Modern and Vintage)
> 4wd / Stadium Truck Qualifying (Modern and Vintage)
Monday 28th August:
> 4wd / Stadium Truck Qualifying (Modern and Vintage)
> Finals (3 Leg A Final) (Modern and Vintage)
Race format:
> Two rounds of seeding practice.
> 4 rounds of qualifying (2 from 4 rounds to count)
> 1 final for all except 3 leg A finals.

With each Modern buggy entry, the competitor will receive one pair of brand new rear Schumacher Mezzo tyres as part of the package.
All other Modern controlled rear tyres for the buggies must be purchased at the event from Scotty Ernst Productions and will be marked to identify this. No rear tyres can be used that aren't purchased at the event.
(Practice will be an exception and you may use any of your own tyres for this part of the event. They must be the same control tyre as per the event.)
