10th Off Road 

Robin Hood Raceway – 31st August 2025

The sixth and final round of the BRCA 1/10th Off Road National Series took place at the ever-popular Robin Hood Raceway, a venue renowned for its flowing layout, challenging surfaces, and top-class facilities. With the series drawing to a close, all eyes were on the 4WD championship contenders, and the racing certainly didn’t disappoint.


A Final – 4WD: Hall Secures Victory in Style

The A Final delivered the fireworks that fans had been hoping for. Tommy Hall showed his trademark pace and composure, winning Legs 1 and 2 to seal the overall victory with a score of 2 points. His consistency across the weekend was unmatched, underlining his status as one of the premier talents in UK off-road racing.

Ben Smith pushed hard throughout the finals, taking victory in Leg 3 and securing second overall with 3 points. Behind them, seasoned campaigner Neil Cragg proved once again why he remains a front-runner, piecing together solid runs to complete the podium in third.

Further down the field, Luke Holdsworth and Daniel Pole showcased their speed with competitive drives, finishing 4th and 5th respectively, while Jonny Skidmore impressed with a strong 6th place finish despite stiff competition. The ever-consistent Josh Holdsworth, Jamie Hall, Lewis Hopkins, and Isaac McFadyean rounded out the A Final in what was a fiercely contested race.

Lower Finals – Battles Right Through the Field

The action didn’t stop with the A Final. Throughout the B to L Finals, close racing and personal triumphs were seen across the board:

  • Matthew Thompson drove superbly to take the B Final win, holding off challenges from Markanthony Jones and Charlie Saunders.

  • In the C Final, William Skidmore stood on the top step, while Harley Eldridge and Ryan Clarke followed closely behind.

  • The D Final saw Steve Brown deliver a commanding performance, with Nick Goodall taking second.

  • Ewan Tumilty clinched victory in the E Final, showing excellent pace to stay clear of the pack.

  • In the F Final, it was Rhys Ward who rose to the occasion with a smooth and consistent drive.

  • Charlie Rhodes emerged victorious in the G Final, while Scott Martin took the H Final win.

  • The I Final went the way of Rhys Trewartha, showing excellent consistency.

  • Terry Streeter took top honours in the J Final, while Daniel Laithwaite prevailed in the K Final.

  • Rounding out the day, Ben Ellis delivered a strong drive to win the L Final.


Championship Context

With Round 6 now complete, the dust settles on another thrilling season of BRCA 1/10th Off Road National racing. The series has once again showcased the very best of British RC racing talent – from seasoned professionals like Neil Cragg to the new wave of rising stars such as Tommy Hall and Ben Smith.

Robin Hood Raceway proved to be a fitting finale, with high grip levels, technical sections, and a layout that rewarded both precision and bravery.


Final Thoughts

The BRCA would like to thank Robin Hood Raceway and its dedicated team of volunteers for hosting a fantastic event, as well as all the drivers, mechanics, and supporters who made Round 6 a true celebration of RC racing at the highest level.

With the season now concluded, focus shifts to the winter calendar and preparations for the 2026 campaign – which promises to be even bigger, faster, and more competitive.
