SECURITY UPDATE

We are pleased to say you will no longer see the red warning screen/alerts when accessing the BRCA website.

It’s fair to say Google is pretty much the backbone of the web—its services and technologies are everywhere and in everything—and it was Google that identified the malware attack and presented the red warning to users.

Yesterday we were concerned that while the attack had been resolved, data protected, and the site secured, it might take some time for a relatively small organisation like the BRCA to work with Google to clear the “red flag”—especially with the weekend upon us, racers needing to race, and organisers needing to organise.

However, we were able to resolve this overnight, and the red flags are gone.

Thanks again to the team for getting this sorted for us, and thank you to all our fellow members for your understanding.

Happy Friday!
