Semi Final B

Semi Final B began with an exciting battle between Erik Lykke (Agama) and Billy Grindley (Sworkz), with the pair quickly breaking away from the rest of the field. Close behind were William Skidmore (XRAY) and Simon Reeves (Sworkz), who remained within striking distance during the early laps.

Midway through the race Billy encountered a mechanical issue but managed to hold on to 2nd place with a determined drive. Erik maintained strong pace to take the win, followed by William Skidmore in 3rd and Simon Reeves in 4th. Graham Alsop (HB) secured 5th, while Jonny Skidmore (XRAY) and Holger Lykke (Agama) completed the top seven.

Semi Final A

Elliott Boots (Sworkz) delivered a dominant performance in Semi Final A, leading from start to finish. Although Lee Martin (XRAY) briefly challenged in the opening laps, Elliott quickly established the fastest pace of the day.

Lee Martin secured 2nd place with a comfortable gap to the chasing pack. Lewis Jones (WIRC) finished 3rd ahead of James Le Pavoux (Sworkz) in 4th. Kevin Brunsden (Agama) finished 5th, followed by Ben Simpson (AE) and Jack Willetts (WIRC).

Main Final

The 45-minute main final started with Elliott Boots on pole position and he quickly opened an early lead over Erik Lykke. A small mistake from Elliott allowed Erik to close the gap, but a series of errors followed by a mechanical failure for Erik dropped him several laps down.

The race then developed into several intense battles throughout the field. A close fight for the remaining podium places unfolded between Will Skidmore, Lee Martin, and Billy Grindley. Will held a podium position until a flame-out during a fuel stop dropped him down the order, and a further engine cut ended his challenge.

This allowed Lee Martin to secure 2nd place, with Billy Grindley achieving a career-best 3rd place finish.

Further back another fierce battle between Lewis Jones, James Le Pavoux, and Jonny Skidmore brought Graham Alsop and Ben Simpson into contention. After an intense closing stage the finishing order saw Jonny Skidmore take 4th, James Le Pavoux 5th, Ben Simpson 6th, Graham Alsop 7th and Lewis Jones 8th.

At the front, however, Elliott Boots remained in control to take the victory and complete a remarkable clean sweep of TQ and wins across all five national rounds, securing the 2025 BRCA RallyX National Championship.
