The Club was established during 1988 and races 1/12th Class radio- controlled model cars indoors to BRCA rules on Lindau carpet on Tuesday evenings at Gresley Old Hall which is situated at Church Gresley, Swadlincote, Derbyshire just off the A444 out of Burton on Trent. Post Code DE11 9QW.
The main Class raced is GT12, with an occasional heat of LMP12 subject to there being sufficient numbers of cars and drivers to make up a heat.
There are normally three qualifying rounds and a final each week on a variety of track designs. The club caters for drivers of all ages and abilities with regular events including Club-nights, Leagues, and Trophy Meetings.
New members are always welcome, race free on your first evening.
Lap counting is by an AMB Timing system, using personal transponders. on-line results being provided by rc-timing software.
Access to the building is from 6-00pm, racing starts at 7-00pm prompt, all finished by 10-00pm.
There is adequate room for car parking adjacent to the Hall.
The pitting area has tables and chairs with access to mains power supplies, extension leads may be required.
Refreshments may be obtained at the bar. (All food and drink consumed on the premises must be purchased at the bar)
