Being 1/12 scale makes these great and relatively cheap compared to
their bigger 1/10 TC versions. With kits ranging from £80 to £280. Another benefit is that they are perfect for smaller clubs where 1/10
sometimes struggle for room, but still at home on larger tracks.
These chassis have been around for some years now with Atomic, Xray and press being some of the first manufacturers to make chassis's many
years ago, but they never really caught on. Over the past 4 years or so and more recently last winter there has been a huge growth in numbers
with many clubs and Winter Championships catering for the class and it has also run as a support class for the GT12 section at some meetings.
At the moment there are several chassis to choose from with Sport and Pro versions avaible to suit everyones pockets. Theres also a choice of
shaft or belt drive. Also available are after market conversion kits that you can use to convert some very well know 1/10 cars into a M-TC by
using donner parts from existing old cars.
