After the driver vote to cancel Round 1 from the 2023 championship due to the inclement weather at Round 1 last month, several changes are being made to the 2023 Driver Championships in line with the voting outcome.
- National Drivers Championships will be 4 rounds from the remaining 7 to count
- Clubman Drivers Championships will be 4 rounds from the remaining 7 to count
- Junior Drivers Championships will be 3 rounds from the remaining 7 to count
Following Round 1, Nene Valley Raceway advised the section that they will now not be in a position to hold Round 3 of this year’s championship as they do not have time to prepare after round 1. After exploring several options, the section is pleased to announce that Round 3 will still take place on 20th& 21stMay 2023 at MMR Raceway.
All other rounds will remain as previously advertised.
Entries for round 3 already submitted will remain valid for the new venue however, if you are no longer able to attend, a full refund will be given.
We fully appreciate this may impact racers prepared plans and arrangements but this decision was not made by the LSOR Section. We have worked quickly to secure an alternative venue and hope to see you all trackside soon.
