Large Scale Off Road

The final round of the 2025 BRCA Large Scale Off-Road National Championship took place at the superb Northwest Nitro Raceway, bringing the curtain down on another unforgettable season of big-scale racing. With championships on the line and pride at stake, the country’s best drivers gathered for one last showdown — and the weekend did not disappoint.

4WD – Oddie on Top as Chung Sets the Pace

In the 4WD class, Tommy Chung came out flying, securing TQ with his rapid Elcon Fourtex 2.0 and setting a benchmark for the field. However, when it came to the finals, the ever-consistent Ian Oddie proved once again why he’s the benchmark in British large-scale racing.

Oddie delivered a flawless performance to take P1, adding yet another victory to his record and confirming his status as the 2025 4WD National Champion. Karl Norris followed closely in P2, with Leon Satchel rounding out the podium in P3 after a fierce battle that had the crowd on their feet.

Behind him, Craig Chilvers pushed hard to secure P2, while Andy Blackburn drove with precision and consistency to complete the podium in P3.

In a tense and tactical final, Shilcock kept his cool under pressure to take the win, followed by Neil Burdess in P2 and Jake Humphreys in P3.
