The BRCA 1/12 GT Section Committee is pleased to announce its calendar of events for the 2023/24 National Championship.

Format

The series will consist of five one day meetings, with practice, four rounds of qualifying, and finals based on FTQ. For GT12 there will be 8 car heats and finals. Where possible, practice will be available on the Saturday evening. 

GT12 will run to current BRCA rules. Motors and batteries will be from the BRCA Electric Board list, current at the date of each event.

Alongside GT12, there will also be a ‘Supercup’ support class based around the popular 1/12^th Hot-Hatch ‘Mini’ format. Full Rules will be published at a later date, but will be for Mardave ‘Mini’ style cars with BRCA Electric Board approved 21T Motors, 4 Cell Metal Hydride Cells, Mini Bodyshells, Full size Servo, 32DP Gears and low cost ESC’s. As with all GT12 nationals, reverse must not be used.

The championship will be contested over five rounds with each driver’s best three scores counting towards their final placing in the series.

Entry

Drivers may only enter one class.

Entry fee for GT12 will be £20 per round.

Entry fee for the ‘Supercup’ series will be a maximum of £15 per round.
