I hope drivers for the 2023 EFRA European 12TH Circuit Championships find this information on the technical requirements for racing useful.
We are running to EFRA rules; check the EFRA website. Cars that comply to local rules may need to be updated to comply with EFRA rules.
Bodies may only be used from the EFRA body list. A new list is expected in the next week - check that before racing.
The body must retain its complete plan view. It is not allowed to cut back the front of the body or the rear of the body, including the horizontal strip behind the rear spoiler top edge.
The latest 1S battery list is now available on the EFRA website, please check your LiPos are on the list. LiPos not on the list cannot be used at the race.
Hobbywing 1S speedos must conform to the latest software that assures only blinky mode can be used. A full explanation is here:

We will provide a service to update your speedo if you wish, please ask at Technical Inspection.
All motors, batteries and body shells will be checked when not in the car. They will be marked to speed up the pre-race tech process. Your items may be checked at any time and must be marked before being assembled in the car. With the exception of the chassis (see below) there is no limit to the number of motors, batteries or bodyshells a driver may use.
On Thursday 13th April, Tech will be open for you to have these items checked. Please take advantage of this as it makes things easier for everyone.
Chassis must be marked. You may not race in the first timed race without a marked chassis. In free practice you may race any chassis. Once the chassis is marked it may only be changed at Tech for an identical replacement if it has been damaged in a race accident.
Technical inspection will not be required for open practice. All timed heats and finals will require technical inspection to be passed before you can start your race.
Your battery may not exceed 4.20v before starting your race. On the first failure to meet this standard, you will be asked to reduce the voltage before you race. On every failure to meet this standard after that, you will not be allowed to race in that round of heats.
All technical inspection equipment, gauges and scales are open for any competitor to use at any time. If you have any questions, please come and ask us.
If you have any questions before the event, please contact me on
