A heavy down pour of rain over Saturday night and constantly drizzly throughout the day, made for some tricky track conditions

It was Allan O’Brien who would walk away with TQ, taking all 4 rounds of qualifying in 2wd. Followed closely by Daniel Pole in second and track local Martin Inglis rounding off the top 3 for qualifying.

4wd had a tough battle for the top spot, with Allan O’Brien and Daniel Pole both taking 2 rounds. It would be Daniel Pole on TQ with the fastest time of the day. Followed by Allan O’Brien and an impressive drive by James Bisset taking 3rdspot in qualifying.

In 2wd Allan O’Brien walked away with the final but fierce battle for 2nd place. Daniel made a mistake early on allowing Martin Inglis in to second and David Scott third. With 2nd, 3rdand 4th swapping places through the race, it would Daniel Pole who fought his way back up to 2nd and David Scott from 6throunding out the top 3 in the 2wd A Final

4wd was rather uneventful compared to 2wd. it would be Daniel Pole taking the top step, followed by Allan O’Brien and Euan McLeod in 3rd.

SDRCC would like to thank everyone for making the trip up and braving the weather. We have booked the sun for round 3 and look forward to seeing you all again.
