The British Radio Car Association, in collaboration with RC Vision, is thrilled to announce a call for volunteers for our upcoming activity week at the Haynes Motor Museum in Yeovil.
We will be at the museum from May 27th to 1st June with an RC racing circuit and crawler course for families and young people to engage with the world of radio control model cars. It's all part of the museum's education focus and the British Motor Shows "Big Kids Toys Week" exhibition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and management of RC car racing sessions.
- Guide and support groups of up to 24 young people, emphasising the basics of engineering, driving, and maintaining 1/10 scale electric touring RC cars.
- Oversee meal breaks and ensure compliance with nutrition guidelines.
- Provide a welcoming, supportive environment for participants and their families.
- Engage in local community outreach and promotional activities to showcase the benefits of RC racing for young people.
